Terms & Conditions of The ReEmergence Process Event Participation

Please read these terms and conditions for all events offered through this website before you book onto an event. Unless you notify us in writing prior to booking onto an event, it is understood that you accept these terms and conditions and that you agree to abide by them.

Suitability

Participants are required, before the event begins, to inform us of any physical or mental health issues that may affect their participation in any way.

Confidentiality

Participants must not reveal confidential information concerning fellow participants without the permission of the person concerned, except when legally required to break confidentiality, or to prevent serious harm to another or themselves.

Support

If personal issues arise, participants are responsible for ensuring that their emotional and psychological needs are met outside the event.

Cancellation Policy

  • You can receive a full refund for cancellations made up to one month before the start of the event.

  • For cancellations made less than one month before the start of the event, the full fee will be retained, whatever the reason for cancellation.

  • If we decide to cancel an event (or part thereof), all fees paid (or an exact proportion of the full fee which reflects the days/times cancelled), will be refunded to the participant. However, we will NOT be responsible for reimbursing any other costs incurred (such as travel or accommodation). These will remain the responsibility of the participant.

  • If we are forced to cancel an event (of part thereof) due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control, we will not be able to offer any refund, in full or in part. Circumstances such as these would include industrial strikes, lock-outs, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, notifiable diseases as per UK government guidelines, adverse weather, issues at the host venue that endanger human health and acts of God. In these circumstances, we would make every effort to reschedule the event (or part thereof).

Suspension

A participant may be asked to leave the event at our discretion. Activities that may lead to suspension include violent or abusive behaviour; being under the influence of drugs or alcohol; inappropriate or bulling behaviour; an inability to control personal behaviour; or when the participant’s continuing presence in the group affects, in an unacceptable way, the quality of the learning experience of the rest of the group.

  • I understand that I am responsible for my own experiences, my own choices and actions based on the experiences I have, or have had, during the event and after.

  • I hereby expressively declare that I understand that participation in the activities offered during the event is voluntary, I understand that I can refrain from participating in any kind of activity when I want to or feel it is necessary.

  • I understand that I must inform Dr Alice Laskey about my history of mental illness, medication, and psychotherapy or other treatment that I have needed in the past.

  • I understand and agree that at any time, the event facilitators may feel that it is necessary for me to refrain from participating in a specific activity or refrain from participation in the remainder of the event. Should this happen, I agree that I will refrain from further participation. I understand that, should this happen, I will get back the money for the remainder of the event I cannot participate in.
